Lumière Med Spa is a boutique medical spa in Scottsdale, AZ offering medical-grade skin treatments including facials, brightening therapies, and intro peels. This project involved building a complete appointment booking funnel to attract new patients through a discounted $49 intro treatment offer and convert them into repeat clients through automated follow-up.

Section 2: Client Problem and Solution

Problem and Solution

The Problem: Lumière Med Spa was relying on Instagram DMs and walk-in traffic to book new patients. There was no dedicated landing page for their intro offer, no automated confirmation or reminder system, and no follow-up process for leads who expressed interest but never booked. This resulted in a high no-show rate, inconsistent new patient flow, and missed revenue from cold leads that fell through the cracks.

The Solution: Built a four-page appointment booking funnel inside GoHighLevel centered around a $49 discounted first treatment offer. The funnel captures cold traffic, guides prospects to self-book directly on the clinic's calendar, and triggers a full eight-step SMS and email automation sequence that handles booking confirmations, pre-appointment reminders, no-show recovery, and a post-visit upsell follow-up. The entire project was documented in Notion for client handoff and team reference.

Section 3: Funnel Map

Funnel Flow Table:

Step Page Purpose Primary CTA
1 Landing Page Introduce the $49 offer and build desire Book My $49 Treatment
2 Booking Page Select treatment type and pick a date and time Calendar booking
3 Confirmation Page Confirm the booking and set pre-visit expectations Add to Google Calendar
4 No-Show Recovery Re-engage leads who missed their appointment Rebook link

Flow Description :

Cold traffic from paid ads or organic social lands on the Landing Page. Interested prospects click through to the Booking Page where they select a treatment and reserve a time slot directly on the GHL calendar. After booking they land on the Confirmation Page which triggers the full automation sequence. The sequence branches into two paths: a Show Path for patients who attend their appointment and a No-Show Recovery Path for patients who miss it. Both paths include a post-visit or re-engagement follow-up designed to bring the patient back for a second visit.

Note :

Email-Only Approach - Strategic Rationale

All touchpoints in this automation sequence were delivered via email. This was an intentional decision for the portfolio build to keep the focus on funnel logic, automation architecture, and email design quality rather than channel complexity.

In a live client deployment the channel strategy would be adjusted based on the client's available tools and compliance setup. Specifically, SMS would be prioritized for time-sensitive touchpoints like the 1hr reminder and no-show recovery given that SMS open rates average above 90% compared to 20 to 30% for email. Email would be retained for content-heavy messages like the full booking confirmation and 7-day post-visit follow up where detail and design add tangible value to the patient experience.

The Day 7 post-visit email is intentionally timed to trigger a second booking before the patient's skin results begin to fade, which is the highest-intent window for med spa upsells. This timing logic applies regardless of channel and is built into the sequence as a core conversion strategy.
